Speech Language Services

Educational Solutions, LLC Speech Language Pathologist Qualifications:

  • All speech language pathologists (SLPs) have an MA or MS in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • All SLPs are ASHA CCC
  • All SLPs either have or are eligible for D.C. licensure
  • All SLPs have a minimum of two years experience with the populations with which they will work

Educational Solutions, LLC Speech Capabilities:

  • Conducting partial or full speech language evaluations of identified students to determine functional levels or special needs
  • Explaining testing and recommendations to parents, teachers, and administrators in a clear and concise manner
  • Acting as interdisciplinary team members in determining special education eligibility
  • Writing thorough reports analyzing speech language evaluations and making recommendations
  • Assisting with creation of speech and language goals for IEPs.
  • Maintaining IEPs through contact logs, progress reports, and in-person updates
  • Entering information into Easy IEP Service Tracker System
  • Providing direct service and/or specialized speech and language instruction according to student IEPs (service can occur in one-on-one, small group, or in-class formats)
  • Communicating with classroom teachers regarding the needs of identified students
  • Consulting with teachers to co-plan lessons, provide modifications for identified students with speech and language needs, or make suggestions for instructional delivery
  • Helping with creation of speech-based classroom supplements (such as daily picture schedules, communication boards, picture exchange communication items, lapbooks, graphic organizers, etc.)
  • Planning instruction or supplements for English Language Learners (ELLs) or Limited English Proficient (LEP) students.
  • Providing direct service and/or specialized reading interventions for students according to their IEPs (our SLPs are also trained in at least one scientifically-motivated reading program)

Educational Solutions, LLC Experience/Positive Factors:

  • 6 years experience providing early childhood speech, language and literacy services
  • 6 years experience providing speech and classroom support to English language learners at the preschool to fifth grade level
  • Implemented two previous Early Reading First grants focused on emergent language and literacy
  • Curricula development and support experience for preschool through adult
  • Parent training experience in the realms of language and literacy support
  • Experience developing thematic lending libraries to support home literacy routines
  • Liability insurance through Erie Insurance
  • Bilingual speech therapists on staff

Pricing Options:

– 3-6 hours per week, $80 per hour

– 6-10 hours per week, $77 per hour

– 11-19 hours per week, $75 per hour

– 20 or more hours per week, $70 per hour

*Hourly rates adjust downward as the number of hours Educational Solutions’ SLPs work each week increases.  The below estimates are based on providing hours to Private, Public, and Public Charter locations in the District of Columbia, Virginia, or Maryland.  Educational Solutions, LLC can also provide inclusive speech language service packages that cover all services for a given year.
